This credit card itself is quite attractive and is promoted as being great for shopaholics, as it allows you to earn up to 3X DBS Points (or 6 miles) on local contactless payments. The DBS Black Visa Card’s Operation

The DBS Black Visa Card is a credit card with perks. It allows you to earn DBS Points at the usual rate of $5 = 1 DBS Point (2 miles). To be honest, it’s not really appealing. If you use Visa PayWave, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, or Google Pay, you can earn points faster. This will earn you $5, which equates to 3 DBS points (6 miles).

Keep an eye out for opportunities to do so since you gain three times the number of rewards points. PayWave is now widely accepted at supermarkets, restaurants, shops, taxis, and even some food courts. However, there are certain disadvantages. For starters, points are rewarded for every $5 spent, so make sure your total shopping bill is a respectable figure — not “$4.99.”
