The beach area is well-maintained and clean; however, swimming is not recommended.

Why Changi Beach?

Take an exciting cycle ride

Most people agree that the best way to explore any place is by riding on a cycle and here you can truly experience that. There are lots of stores nearby which offer you cycles on rent so just grab one and start to explore. The advantage with cycles is that you get to cover a large area and not be limited to the beach alone. Waterfront views are marvelous as you can see waves crashing along a gorgeous sunset. Changi Road too has many attractions and you can explore the local culture and life there. Also, there are many day tours which you can opt for to explore the area along with a guide and this makes for why must visit Changi beach?

Visit the Changi Beach Park

Changi Beach Park is very popular here. Just like any other park this park too has play areas. The unique thing here is that the park is scenic with greenery and the waterfront. It also has many benches for you to sit and enjoy the views. Moreover, there are also barbecue pits where you can have your own mini picnic. This place is extremely popular with families, campers, bikers, etc. There is also a very interesting spot here from where you can have a close look at the incredible 747 airplanes take off and land. So, make sure to check this activity out from your list when you get here.

Changi Chapel & Museum

The Chapel and Museum were shifted to the Changi Village in the year 2001. Both of the architectures were earlier a part of the Changi prison. These places have a lot of historical importance and represent the time when Singapore was under Japanese control. However, you can visit the museum to brush up on your history knowledge as the gallery displays photos and illustrations from the wartime era. We recommend you visit both the chapel and the museum as it is totally worth it! And it makes Chnagi beach a must visit.

The beachside restaurants here are famous for their local delicacies. There are plenty of restaurants offering various kinds of food like grilled meat and seafood, pasta, noodles, etc. Bistro @Changi is a popular joint here. There are many street-side stalls as well where you can get more authentic local flavours. Barbecued meat seafood paired along with a chilled beer is typically on every other table. The restaurants here remain open till midnight so you can enjoy a late dinner or take a late-night stroll to grab a bite.
