We bring exciting news about credit cards and tell you how you can make use of the best credit cards. In this blog, we discuss the DBS woman’s credit card so that you can get your hands on the best deals!

What’s the difference between a DBS Woman’s World Card and a Woman’s World Card?

The Woman’s Card is the entry-level form of this card for people earning $30,000 or more each year. Meanwhile, the Woman’s World Card is a more upscale, higher-tier card with more appealing advantages. You must have an annual salary of $80,000 or more to qualify. As you might expect, the higher tier Woman’s World Card provides more generous perks in the form of a greater rewards points gain rate, which we’ll discuss in the following section.

The DBS Woman’s Card and How It Works

When you shop online or make other transactions with your DBS Woman’s Card or Woman’s World Card, you’ll earn rewards points. There is no compulsion to spend a certain amount. These points can be redeemed for vouchers and present from the DBS rewards catalog. They can also be converted to air miles, which are currently about as useful as a hole in the skull.

The Woman’s Card earns 5X DBS Points (or 10 miles) for every $5 spent online and 1X DBS Point (or 2 miles) for every $5 spent offline. Each calendar month, the 5X earn rate is limited to $1,000 in online spending. If you believe you’ll go over the limit, take it slowly and spread out your purchases across more than one month.

Assume you decide to purchase a $500 Secretlab gaming chair online. If you paid with the DBS Woman’s Card, you’d get 500 DBS Points (equal to 1,000 miles), or around 2 miles per $1 spent.

The DBS Woman’s World Card’s Operation

The DBS Woman’s World Card is a more advanced version of the DBS Woman’s Card. If your income is high enough to qualify for this card, it is unquestionably the better option. It earns you 10X DBS Points (or 20 miles) for every $5 spent online, which is double the rate of the DBS Woman’s Card.

So, if you used your DBS Woman’s World Card to pay for that Secret Lab chair, you’ll gain 1,000 DBS points (equivalent to 2,000 miles). That works up to 4 miles per $1. The 10X earn rate applies to your first $2,000 in online spending in a calendar month, which is double the Woman’s Card threshold.

What You Should Know About the DBS Woman’s Credit Card

I noted that earlier, but it bears repeating: you don’t have to be a woman to acquire either card. So, if you’re a high-earning man, there’s nothing prohibiting you from accruing points or miles with a DBS Woman’s World Card.

The points on both cards are only good for one year. It takes time to amass enough points to be able to swap for anything valuable. As a result, if you rarely use your card, you won’t get much out of it.

If you want your yearly charge erased after the first year, you must also spend at least $15,000 (Woman’s Card) or $25,000 (Woman’s World Card) in a year. If you only shop online once in a while, a cashback card may be worth it.
