Online shopping is the new way to shop these days and no one’s complaining! Especially when you can get rewards, discounts and many more offers. That means you can receive cash rebates, points, and bonus miles on top of everything you spend because credit cards are all vying for your business when it comes to online shopping. In this blog, we tell you about the best online shopping credit cards in Singapore

Best Online Shopping Credit Cards in Singapore

DBS Live Fresh Card

Your clothing will undoubtedly look better following a shopping binge with the Live Fresh Card, which offers a 5% reward on online purchases and Visa Contactless payments. The reimbursements are available for any form of online spending, including flight tickets and Steam credits. Rides on Grab or Gojek are also eligible, and you can earn cashback on MRT and bus rides if you use SimplyGo, which accepts Visa Contactless payments.

You can also receive cashback (up to $15) on non-online, non-contactless transactions (remember those?) at a variety of “eco-friendly” companies, such as various cafes, grocery stores, and transportation choices like BlueSG and electric vehicle charging. The minimum spending threshold is $600, which is acceptable given how many items qualify for rewards on this card. The only challenge is that cashback for qualified online spending is limited to $20, with an additional $20 allocated to Visa contactless spending. That means you can only earn cashback on $400 in online purchases and $400 in Visa Contactless purchases per month.

HSBC Revolution Card – Online Shopping Credit Cards

When you use this card, you can earn 10X rewards points (equal to 4 air miles or 2.5 percent cashback) on online purchases and contactless payments. Online spending of any kind counts, so charge that Grab ride or your Spotify subscription to the card. Another advantage is that the card has no annual fee, which means you won’t have to phone them at the end of the year to request a waiver.

The HSBC rewards catalogue is one of the most intriguing ones available. Aside from the normal shopping center vouchers, you’ll find some very unusual prizes such as fancy crystal wine glasses and Fitbits. However, there is a $1,000 cap on how much you may earn 10X points on, so don’t go spending thousands in a single month.

OCBC FRANK Credit Card

OCBC FRANK is a great competitor if you’re seeking the best online shopping card with the highest reward rate. The card offers a 6% reward on all online purchases, so you can charge anything to it, including supermarket deliveries, Grab trips, and Netflix subscriptions. You will also receive a 6% reward when you use your smartphone to pay using Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, Fitbit Pay, or Garmin Pay.

OCBC FRANK also offers a 6% cashback on in-store foreign currency purchases. This might be your go-to card for international travel! The minimum monthly spending requirement is $600, which isn’t awful given the variety of items on which you may receive cashback. The bad news is that cashback is limited to $25 for online purchases and $25 for mobile payments and foreign currency purchases. That means you can only earn cashback on roughly $417 in internet purchases per month. Overall, the total cashback per month is limited to $75.

Citi Lazada Card

If you never shop at Lazada, you can skip this card. The Citi Lazada Card may be handy, as it allows you to earn 10X rewards points whenever you purchase on the site. The card offers Lazada shipping discounts on orders of at least $50 four times a month. That does not imply that you must spend your entire life on Lazada. When you spend money on dining, travel, entertainment, and commuting in the “real world,” you earn 5X points.

If you despise leaving your house, you’ll be relieved to learn that Netflix and Spotify count as entertainment. Each month, you can earn up to 9,000 points at accelerated rates. In other words, if you spend $900 to $1,800, you can get 10X or 5X rewards points.

Citibank Rewards Card

Cashback credit cards are my personal preferred form of credit card, although they frequently have minimum spending limitations. To prevent going over budget, use a rewards card with no minimum spend limitation, such as the Citi Rewards Card. When you use the card to make online purchases, use ride-hailing apps like Grab or Gojek, or place restaurant or grocery delivery orders, you will earn 10X points (equal to 4 miles).

It also helps that the Citi Rewards portfolio is pretty appealing. You may exchange your points for air miles, presents, and vouchers; if all else fails, you can redeem your points for Apple products or Amazon points. However, all wonderful things have limits – the Citi Rewards Card only rewards you at a 10X earn rate for up to $1,000 in monthly spending, so keep that in mind!
