Citibank SMRT Card

It is a great card for cashback benefits. You can get cashback from public transport, McDonald’s, Starbucks, online shopping, and much more. The minimum income required for Singaporeans is $30,000 per year annually. And for non-Singaporeans, the income criteria are $42,000 annually. The annual interest rate is charged at 26.9% but the good part is you don’t have a minimum spend amount. The Citibank SMRT Card is a good choice for everyday use.

American Express True Cashback Card

This credit card by Amex is one of the best cashback cards in Singapore. It’s good for big-spending like weddings, other life events, etc. There is no cap on cashback amount so it comes with unlimited cashback & is very easy to use. Moreover, there is no minimum spend amount as well. If you are a Singaporean, you’ll need a minimum yearly income of $30,000. And for a non-Singaporean, the yearly income should be $60,000. Don’t forget the annual interest rate of 25.9%.

POSB Everyday Card

This may not be the coolest credit card on the block, but it is good enough for humble needs. POSB Everyday Card offers a 3% discount at Pet Lovers Centre, 5% off for shopping at Sheng Siong, and 1% on StarHub and electricity bills. The good part is if you own a car you get a massive 24.8% off at SPC. If you are a local Singaporean, your minimum income should be $30,000 annually. And for non-Singaporeans, it stands at $45,000 annually. The annual interest rate is charged at 26. 80%.

UOB One

Now, this credit card works differently as compared to others. You are offered a flat cashback of $50, $100, or $300 according to the amount you spend. For a discount of $300, you need to spend $2000 every month for three consecutive months. Similarly, for $50 and $100 you need to spend $500 and $1000 respectively. The annual rate of interest is 25.9% which is lesser than the POSB Everyday Card. The minimum income for a local must be $30,000 per year and for non-Singaporeans must be $40,000 yearly.

HSBC Advance Card

This credit card promises you high cash discounts. So, you don’t have to worry about being too strict with your expenses. Get yourself an HSBC account and if your salary is $3,500 you are eligible for a generous discount of 3.5%. But keep in mind for that 3.5% your spending needs to be at least $2000. If your expenses are lower than this, then you will still get a discount of 2.5%. The rate of interest charged is 25.9% and a local Singaporean must have an annual income of $30,000. And non-Singaporeans will need an annual income of $40,000 to avail this card. This is one of the best cashback credit cards in Singapore.
