Here are some of the best dining credit cards in Singapore. Avail one now and enjoy the great food and cuisine Singapore has to offer.

Best Dining Credit Cards in Singapore

Citi Cashback Credit Card

The Citi Cash Back Card is still a pretty good dining card. Using the Citi Cash Back card, you can earn 6% cash back at restaurants and cafes. The catch is that you do not qualify for this cashback if you use food delivery services such as Deliveroo or Foodpanda. The minimum spending requirement is $800, which may be challenging to meet if you only have one mouth to feed and do not drive. The total cashback you can earn per month is $80, equivalent to $1,000 to $1,333 in spending.

American Express Platinum Credit Card

Although American Express credit cards already include dining privileges, the AMEX Platinum Credit Card’s Love Dining by the Platinum programme provides additional exclusive benefits. You can use the AMEX Platinum Concierge to make restaurant reservations as part of this exclusive dining programme. In addition to the concierge service, you get pretty good 1-for-1 deals and discounts at some of the city’s most prestigious restaurants.

All dining partners offer 50% off your bill for groups of two, 35% off for groups of three, 25% off for groups of four, and 20% off for larger groups.

Here are some of the restaurants that you will be able to access:

  • Fairmont Singapore
  • Regent Singapore
  • Marriott Tang Plaza
  • Paradox Merchant Court
  • Swissotel The Stamford
  • St. Regis
  • W Singapore – Sentosa Cove
  • Peach Garden (OCBC)
  • Sen of Japan

The dining programme of Love Dining by AMEX Platinum is very similar to that of HSBC Visa Infinite. However, both are elite cards with income requirements of $80,000 and $120,000 per year, respectively.

Citi Rewards Credit Card – Best dining credit cards in Singapore

If you prefer to live your life online, the Citi Rewards Card offers 10X reward points for online food delivery. To round out your sedentary couch potato lifestyle, online groceries, online shopping, Grab, and Gojek, among other services, are all included in the bonus reward points programme. While there is no monthly minimum spend, you can only earn up to 10,000 reward points (via the bonus 10X reward points programme) per month.

CIMB World Mastercard

Another cashback credit card is available. The CIMB World Mastercard offers 2% cashback on dining and online food ordering. You must spend a minimum of $1,000 per month on the card. However, there is no limit to the amount of cashback you can receive.

Online food delivery platforms that are eligible include:

  • Deliveroo\sFoodpanda
  • GrabFood
  • WhyQ
  • AirAsia Food

The 2% cashback rate on the CIMB World Mastercard is a far cry from the 6% cashback rate on the Citi Cashback Card. However, with CIMB, you can earn as much cashback as you want, whereas, with Citi, you can only earn $80 in cashback. This naturally makes CIMB the cashback card to use if you enjoy hosting large groups of dinner parties and spending a lot of money on restaurants and food.
